Tigers sweep two-game set with Brewers

Milwaukee, whose magic number to clinch the National League Central Division remained at five, has lost two straight following a five-game winning streak.Lorenzo Cain’s double accounted for the Brewers’ only run, coming with two outs in the second. Jace Peterson singled and stole second and Daniel Vogelbach walked before Cain ripped a double just inside first base.A walk to Manny Pina loaded the bases but Manning prevented further damage by retiring Kolten Wong on a groundout.Woodruff set down the first 11 batters he faced. Detroit then scored a two-out run to tie it. Robbie Grossman drew a walk and scored on Cabrera’s double to left.
