Report: Pistons trade Johnson to Bucks for Maker

Two former lottery picks are set for a fresh start, as the Detroit Pistons are finalizing a trade to send forward Stanley Johnson to the Milwaukee Bucks for center Thon Maker.ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Wednesday that the two sides had reached an agreement in principle. The NBA trade deadline is Thursday afternoon.Johnson, 22, was the eighth overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft. He has played in 48 games (seven starts) this season, averaging 7.5 points, 3.6 rebounds and 20.0 minutes per game. All those numbers are down from 2017-18, when he posted 8.7 points, 3.7 boards and 27.4 minutes in 69 games (50 starts).
